India Mark III VLOM

India Mark III VLOM (Village level operation and maintenance ) concept made possible with India mark II hand pump with following modifications. Manufactured as per Bureau of Indian Standards specs. viz.13056/91.

Specifications:

  • These are open top cylinder with cast iron body and extruded brass sleeved with top cap tp take 65mm NB riser pipe.

  • Plunger and foot valve can now be extracted and reinstalled without removing riser pipes and cylinder and push rod.

  • Water tank modified with bigger socket to fit 65mm NB riser pipe.

  • This model is capable of taking water from depths of 45 meters.
